Fruitvale ISD 244 VZCR 1910 Fruitvale, TX 75127 May 20, 2022 Subject: Quote to upgrade existing NEC SV9100 phone system to comply with the Ray Baum Act and Kari's Law. Also, quote for converting to a cloud VoIP solution. Fruitvale Independent School District (FISD) invites qualified companies to submit a quote for upgrading a NEC SV9100 phone system. This entails upgrading the processor from a CP10 to a CP20 by a NEC certified technician and configuring software to meet Ray Baum's Act and Kari's Law compliance. The selected vendor must be a registered NEC SV9100 dealer/reseller. Selected vendors must also install SIP services, work with the FISD internet provider to configure, and install and test (10) SIP trunks provided by the FISD internet provider. Submit options to replace (29) existing 24 button digital phones with new comparable VoIP phones. Add (37) VoIP 8-button phones to classrooms on existing cables connected to existing POE switches. FISD IT department will be responsible for configuring switches for VOIP QoS. In addition, FISD requests quotes for a cloud VoIP solution to comply with the Ray Baum Act and Kari's Law. This quote will be for (74) users and include similar model phones provided on a 3 year term. The selected vendor will be available for on-site installation services during cutover, if required. FISD IT department will be responsible for configuring switches for VOIP QoS. Ray Baum's Act vendor test and verification: Verify with public safety answering point (PSAP) to ensure they are receiving the dispatch location information. This includes a valid civic address, plus additional information such as building, floor, suite or room number "necessary to adequately identify the location of the calling party". This feature is to be programmed on the NEC SV9100 and will be included with the cloud VoIP system programming from the cloud VoIP provider. Kari's Law compliance was previously installed and tested on the existing NEC SV9100 phone system.
