Scope of Work: Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College is soliciting quotes for carpet replacement in the library. Please see the attached Library Finishes Upgrade document created by MOA Architecture. This document includes all carpet and measurement specifications. There will be a base bid and Alternate Bid requested. This is indicated on page 2 of this Request for Quote package. All vendors are responsible for the exact measurements of the area to be bid. If you interested in viewing the library, please contact Carl Brown at 803-268-2561 to schedule an appointment. A Pre-Performance Conference between the contractor and the College will be held at OCtech after final award, and prior to commencement of work under the contract. The responsibilities of all parties involved will be discussed to assure a meeting of the minds of all concerned. The successful contractor or his duly authorized representative shall be required to attend at contractor's expense. Successful vendor will be required to submit copies of any applicable licenses, a W-9 form and a Certificate of Liability Insurance. Building B – Second Floor Library Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College, Orangeburg, SC 29118 SCOPE OF WORK: Base Bid Contractor to provide all materials and labor to replace carpet and install new LVT flooring and new 4” rubber cove base in Main Library, Room B222, as specified on Construction Plans and Specifications to be referred to as the Base Bid. Alternate Bid (to be accepted if budget allows) Contractor to replace carpet and 4” rubber cove base in one Office and four Study Rooms as designated on the Construction Plans as Alternate Bid.
