REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS RFQ #2024-490-109 PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR 2024 FUNDING OF HMGP, BRIC, AND FMA PROJECTS Submission Deadline: September 24th, 2024, by 2:00 PM Central Time Grimes County Road and Bridge Department 1022 Highway 90 South Anderson, TX 77830 (936) 873-4436 LEGAL NOTICE Advertisement for Request for Qualifications September 4th, 2024 Notice is hereby given that sealed statements of qualifications will be accepted by Grimes County Road and Bridge Department for RFQ 2024-09-03, Pre-Award and Post-Award Engineering Services for 2024 Funding of Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP), Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities Grant Program (BRIC), and/or Flood Mitigation Assistance Grant Program (FMA). Grimes County plans to apply for available grant funding offered under FMA, BRIC, and HMGP. These services are being solicited to assist the County in its applications and, if awarded, to support eligible activities. Accordingly, the County is seeking to contract with a qualified engineering team that can provide support to the County with completing professional services associated with awarded grants. Specifications for this project may be obtained from Grimes County webpage: https://grimescountytexas.gov/request-for-bids-qualifications. Statements of qualifications are to be sealed and addressed to the Grimes County Auditor’s Office with the proposal number and name marked on the outside of the envelope or box. Proposers shall forward an original and three (3) hard copies of their proposal to the address shown below. Late statements of qualifications will be rejected as non-responsive. Statements of qualifications will be publicly opened and only the firm name will be read aloud at Grimes County Justice Center at the time and date below. Statements of qualifications shall be opened in a manner that avoids disclosure of the contents to competing offerors and maintains the confidentiality of the statements of qualifications during negotiations. Offerors are invited to attend the sealed statements of qualifications opening.
