Description

Request for Qualifications (RFQ) HVAC Installation, Repair & Maintenance Services Bethel School District #52 is seeking qualified local HVAC contractors to provide installation, repair, and maintenance services for facilities within the district. The intent of this RFQ is to establish a pool of experienced vendors who can safely and effectively perform work in environments that may include students and staff. RFQs will be received by Skylar Fairchild, Bethel School District, for HVAC Installation, Repair & Maintenance Services by Friday, June 18th, 2026 until the Deadline for Submission at 2:00 PM PST, at the Bethel School District #52 Administration Building, 4640 Barger Drive, Eugene, Oregon 97402 or electronically submitted via OregonBuys by time stated. Briefly, the selected contractor(s) will provide HVAC services on an as-needed basis, including but not limited to installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems; rooftop units; split systems; exhaust and ventilation systems; controls and thermostats; indoor air quality improvements; and emergency repair services. Qualified contractor(s) must: ●​ Be able to conduct site visits and provide recommendations. ●​ Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment. ●​ Ensure compliance with all applicable Oregon state and local mechanical and building codes. ●​ Have all contractor(s) and their employees pass a background check. ●​ Maintain safe, clean, and secure job sites. ●​ Coordinate schedules to minimize disruption to school operations. ●​ Work efficiently in occupied environments. ●​ Demonstrate experience troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial or institutional settings. ●​ Demonstrated ability to provide fair, reasonable, and competitive pricing consistent with industry standards and public agency expectations is required. No RFQ will be received or considered unless the contractor(s) is properly licensed and in good standing with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) and holds all applicable mechanical/HVAC licenses required by the State of Oregon at the time the RFQ is submitted, as required by OAR 137-049-0230. Contractor(s) will also provide proof of general liability and workers’ compensation insurance.
