Request for Qualifications for Security Services-DOT Facilities and Onboard Buses

Description

The City invites submittals of Request for Qualifications for the provision of security guard services from private security service contractors.  Qualilfied vendors will be invited to participate in a subsequent bid.The City of Santa Monica (the "City”) is soliciting qualifications for security guard services for the Department of Transportation (DOT) to provide onsite and onboard security services at Big Blue Bus Facilities ("BBB Facilities") which consist of the BBB Yard located at 1620 6th Street, Santa Monica; the GoSaMo Center located at 1444 4th Street, Santa Monica; and 980 bus stops within the BBB service area. Onboard services will take place on buses throughout BBB’s service area.The City is interested in a five (5) year contract to be exercised in the City's sole discretion.
