Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Fencing Installation & Repair Services Bethel School District #52 is seeking qualified local fencing contractors to provide installation, repair, and maintenance services for facilities within the district. The intent of this RFQ is to establish a pool of experienced vendors who can safely and effectively perform work in environments that may include students and staff. RFQs will be received by Skylar Fairchild, Bethel School District, for Fencing Installation & Repair Services by Friday, June 18th, 2026 until the Deadline for Submission at 2:00 PM PST, at the Bethel School District #52 Administration Building, 4640 Barger Drive, Eugene, Oregon 97402 or electronically submitted via OregonBuys by time stated. Briefly, the selected contractor(s) will provide fencing services on an as-needed basis, including but not limited to installation of chain-link, wood, vinyl, and ornamental fencing; fence repair, replacement, and reinforcement; gate installation, repair, and hardware (manual and automated); temporary fencing (if/when required); security-related fencing improvements. Qualified contractor(s) must: ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● Be able to conduct site visits and provide recommendations. Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment. Ensure compliance with all applicable Oregon state and local codes. Have all contractor(s) and their employees pass a background check. Maintain safe, clean, and secure job sites. Coordinate schedules to minimize disruption to school operations. Work efficiently in occupied environments. Demonstrated ability to provide fair, reasonable, and competitive pricing consistent with industry standards and public agency expectations. No RFQ will be received or considered unless the contractor(s) is registered and in good standing with the Construction Contractors Board or licensed by and in good standing with the State Landscape Contractors Board at the time the RFQ is made, as required by OAR 137-049-0230. Contractor(s) will also provide proof of general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. It is strongly desired that contractor(s) have a minimum of 3–5 years of relevant fencing experience, can demonstrate experience working with school districts or similar public agencies in Oregon, and are based in Eugene, Oregon. Experience working in occupied buildings and around children is highly preferred.
