The County of Sacramento Department of Airports is seeking a qualified firm, partnership, corporation, association, persons, or professional organizations as construction manager at-risk (“CMAR” or “Firm”) to perform pre-construction and construction services for the Sacramento International Airport Terminal A Chiller Capacity Upgrade.CMARs that intend to submit a SOQ must meet the following minimum requirements:• Ability to provide adequate bonds and insurance commensurate with the work to be performed• Hold a Class B or higher Contractors License which is current, valid, and in good standing with the California Contractors State License Board• Be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations and qualified to perform public work as required by California Labor Code sections 1771.5 and 1725.5• Have delivered projects using CMAR delivery method and managed work through Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts• Ability to deliver similar projects within performance period and budget• Experience working with government agencies and with public works projects, including applicable public contracting and labor compliance requirementsIn addition, experience in the following areas is desired:• Working in secured public areas• Working in an operational setting that interacts with the public• Experience with complex equipment replacement
