By order of the Great Miami Wastewater Authority (“Authority”) PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT GREAT MIAMI WASTEWATER AUTHORITY Request for Qualifications - Consultant Engineering Services FRANKLIN REGIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT BIOSOLIDS HANDLING FACILITY AND SECONDARY CLARIFER IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT May 2026 The Great Miami Wastewater Authority (referred as “Authority”) will procure the services of a consulting engineering firm for the development of improvements to Franklin Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (FR WWTP). Work performed by the consultant will culminate in a preliminary design report containing concept drawings, equipment information, budgetary opinion of probable construction costs, and implementation schedule. Upon conclusion of the design report, the Authority retains the ability to amend the firm’s agreement to include design, bidding, and construction services. The total anticipated construction improvements are budgeted at $10 million. Consulting engineering firms are invited to submit their qualifications for consideration during our review and selection process. Project background, description of required services, and project schedule are as follows. Franklin Regional WWTP Franklin Regional WWTP FR WWTP is located at 201 Baxter Drive, Franklin, Ohio and classified as a secondary treatment facility rated for treatment of 4.5 million gallons per day (MGD) of municipal and industrial wastewater.
