The City of Beaverton is seeking electronic proposals from qualified manufacturers, suppliers, vendors of radio-read Advanced Metering Infrastructure. This RFP solicits quotes to furnish a new complete system. The system, as proposed will include, but not be limited to, radio-read meters, meter radios, meter boxes and lids, antennas, user interface software, data exchange software compatible with the city’s current billing system, and all other equipment required for the Selected Proposer to provide a fully functional, turnkey AMI system. The Selected Proposer will furnish necessary equipment, provide training to city staff, and provide technical assistance to operate the system on an as-needed basis to ensure successful implementation of the system. The project budget is approximately $6,500,000 - $8,500,000.Qualified proposers are invited to submit a proposal outlining their experience and qualifications in performing work directly related to the services required. The Project is funded through federal funds under the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) and the Safe Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund (SDWRLF) and must comply with federal requirements and documentation.
