Request for Proposals for Property Management Services

Description

The City of South San Francisco (“City”) is soliciting proposals from qualified property management firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, persons, or professional organizations (“Property Manager”) to provide residential and commercial property management services with respect to the properties (“Properties”) listed in the section below and described in Exhibit A. In general, the Property Manager selected as a result of this process will provide rent collection, eviction, inspection, maintenance and repair, tenant move in/out, and financial services and thereafter work cooperatively with the City, staff and consultants, to manage the Properties. The proposals submitted in response to this RFP will be used as the basis for selecting a Property Manager to perform the Scope of Services. The proposals will be evaluated and ranked according to the criteria provided in “Evaluation Process” in this RFP.  This RFP is not an offer by the City to contract with a selected Property Manager responding to this RFP. The City reserves the right to reject any and all responses, to waive minor irregularities in any proposal, to negotiate with qualified sources, or cancel this request in total or in part. The City also reserves the right to amend this RFP as necessary. All materials submitted to the City in response to this RFP shall remain the property of the City. The responder must bear the costs of preparing and submitting their proposals and the City will not reimburse those costs.
