The City of Santa Monica’s City Planning Division (“City”) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to prepare a cannabis equity assessment and provide related services, including a data-informed evaluation of the historical impacts that the criminalization of cannabis has had on the community, best practices for cannabis equity, and providing policy recommendations to guide the City in the development of a cannabis equity program, (“Project”).The completed equity assessment must be delivered to the City by November 2024 and presented to the City Council by December 2024.
