REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS EXCLUSIVE BEVERAGE AND SNACK VENDING OPERATIONS CHADRON STATE COLLEGE OFFICE OF THE VICE PRESIDENT FOR ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE 1000 Main Street Sparks Hall Room #224 Chadron, NE 69337 Page 1 of 36 INVITATION TO SUBMIT PROPOSAL Chadron State College will receive responses to a Request for Proposal (RFP) in the form of sealed bids for Exclusive Beverage and Snack Vending Operations on campus. Bids will be received at the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance, Chadron State College, 1000 Main Street, Chadron, NE 69337, until 3:00 p.m. MST Friday November 8, 2024. Bids will be opened and acknowledged by receipt at this time. PRE-BID QUESTIONS Contractors interested in bidding for this proposal will send all inquiries to requestforproposals@csc.edu prior to October 18, 2024. The inquiry and the answer will be shared with all parties involved. PERFORMANCE BOND The successful bidder is required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) from a security company authorized to do business in the State of Nebraska. The Bond requirement must be met before the formal contract is executed. At the sole discretion of the College, the Performance Bond may be waived in total or in part during subsequent contract years after the initial year. TIMELY SUBMISSION To be considered, all proposals must be submitted on or before the deadline date and time. The College will not consider proposals submitted after that time regardless of the reason for the late submission. BASIS OF BID PROPOSALS Bid proposals are to be based upon specifications contained in the Request for Proposals for Exclusive Beverage and Snack Vending Operations, including all sections. No telephone or fax proposals will be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of one hundred fifty (150) days after the date of the bid opening. It is the responsibility of the prospective bidder submitting a proposal to become fully acquainted with the conditions to be found at the College. These conditions include, but are not limited to, legal and tax requirements and the costs involved in beverage and snack vending operations at the College and in the State of Nebraska. BID PROPOSAL FORMAT Bid proposals shall contain the information required and shall conform to the format outlined in the Request for Proposal.
