Building Maintenance Division September 3, 2026 ADDENDUM NO. 2 CHILLER REPLACEMENT – GARLAND CENTER This Addendum No. 2 shall be considered part of the Bid Documents for the above-mentioned project as though it had been issued at the same time and shall be incorporated integrally therewith. Where provisions of the following supplementary data differ from those of the original bid documents, this Addendum shall govern and take precedence. Firms are hereby notified that they shall make any necessary adjustments in their bid package as a result of this Addendum. It will be construed that each firm’s package is submitted with full knowledge of all modifications and supplemental data specified herein. Bidders shall acknowledge receipt of this addendum on the outside of their bid packages. ** BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED UNTIL 2:00 PM, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2026, AT THE PUBLIC WORKS – MOC LOCATED AT 1300 N BROAD ST, GASTONIA, NC 28054. Contractor Requests for Information (RFI’s): 1. RFI: We wanted to ask if anyone has considered changing the Bid Date on this project, due to the "Labor Day" Holiday, on Sept 7th. It's often difficult to get pricing from Subs / Suppliers, around the Holidays as well as getting a bid in on time, if it were to be sent by an Express Delivery Courier. RESPONSE: Due to the holiday schedule, to allow additional time for supplier coordination and responses to questions, the Bid Opening Date has been postponed. THE REVISED BID DEADLINE IS 2:00 PM, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2026, AT THE PUBLIC WORKS – MOC LOCATED AT 1300 N BROAD ST, GASTONIA, NC 28054. ** Bidders shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum on the outside of their proposal envelope.
