Request for Proposal (RFP) for Odor and Corrosion Control Services

Description

The Santa Cruz County Sanitation District (District) invites sealed proposals for Odor and Corrosion Control Services from fully licensed, insured, bonded, certified CONTRACTORS to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals required to provide services for the Santa Cruz County Sanitation District.The District maintains 220 miles of gravity sewer mains, 14 miles of force mains, and 4,687 sewer manholes and 35 pump stations. The District encompasses the communities of Live Oak, portions of Aptos and Soquel and the City of Capitola. Our primary purpose is to maintain the sewer system transporting the wastewater to the City of Santa Cruz Wastewater Treatment Plant. The D.A. Porath Facility is the District’s main facility and the average daily dry weather flows are approximately 3 million gallons per day before it is pumped to the City’s treatment.The District is soliciting bid proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide odor and corrosion control chemical, carbon media and services as detailed in this Specification.The scope of this project shall include, but not be limited to:• Provision of and delivery of chemical• Provision of carbon and carbon change-out services• Data collection• Data Analysis• Provision and installation of equipment and instrumentation• Routine service and maintenance• Remote Feed Adjustment Capability• Remote H2S Monitoring• Remote Tank Monitoring and Inventory Control Services• ReportingThe term of this contract will be 2 (two) yearswith the option to extend for an additional 2 (two) one-year periods.
