Request for Proposal (RFP)​ High School Locker Room/Kitchen Flooring and Shower Updates School District of Sevastopol​ 4550 Highway 57 ​ Sturgeon Bay, WI RFP Issue Date: April 8th, 2026​ Proposal Due Date: April 29th, 2026 1. Introduction The School District of Sevastopol is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to update the flooring and shower areas in our high school locker rooms along with the kitchen floor. This project is part of our continued effort to maintain safe, clean, and functional facilities for our students and athletic programs. We value strong partnerships with contractors who understand the needs of school environments and can deliver high-quality work with minimal disruption to our operations. 2. Project Overview This project will focus on improving both the durability and usability of our locker room spaces. Work will include removal of existing floor tiles and installation of epoxy flooring designed for high-use, wet environments. Anticipated work includes: ● ● ● ● ● Removal and disposal of existing locker room flooring Removal and/or renovation of existing shower areas Preparation of kitchen floor Installation of new, slip-resistant flooring Update bathroom toilets, sinks and partitions 3. Scope of Work Flooring We are looking for flooring solutions (Epoxy) that are built to last in a high-traffic, wet setting. Flooring should be: ●​ Slip-resistant and appropriate for locker room/kitchen use ●​ Durable and long-lasting ●​ Easy to maintain and clean ●​ Resistant to mold, mildew, and bacteria Contractors should include subfloor preparation. Shower Areas Shower upgrades may include: ●​ Removal of existing surfaces ●​ Installation of new wall systems (tile, panels, or equivalent) ●​ Updated or replacement fixtures (if included in proposal) ●​ Waterproofing systems ●​ Mold- and mildew-resistant finishes ●​ Drain and plumbing adjustments, if needed Bathroom area ●​ Replace toilets, sinks and partitions in bathrooms within locker rooms. General Expectations ●​ All work must comply with Wisconsin State Building Codes and local requirements ●​ Contractors are responsible for permits and inspections ●​ Work areas must be kept safe, clean, and secure ●​ The project schedule should minimize disruption to school activities 4. Project Timeline We are targeting completion prior to the start of the next athletic season, if possible.
