Rental Audit Testing

Washington County, in collaboration with the City of Beaverton and the City of Hillsboro, will be contracting with an agency to perform rental audit testing in Washington County. Local cities and Counties that receive certain federal housing or community development funds have a role in affirmatively furthering Fair Housing. As a condition of receiving CDBG and HOME funds, the Washington County Consortium has prepared and periodically updated an Analysis of Impediments plan that identifies potential impediments to fair housing choice and presents strategies and actions to address them. The most recent audit testing was completed in September 2019. The data collected from audit testing will help inform decisions about actions and strategies to be undertaken to address impediments to fair housing choice.Firms responding must have a minimum of five (5) years experience with pairs testing. Most of this is in person work that cannot be completed remotely.
