Proposals are being accepted by West Basin Municipal Water District (West Basin), a Municipal Water District, for Project Title.The Urban Water Management Planning (UWMP) Act requires urban water suppliers to include an assessment of the reliability of water sources, description of demand management measures, a water shortage contingency plan and a discussion on the use of recycled water every five (5) years. West Basin seeks to partner with the City of El Segundo, City of Inglewood, City of Lomita, and City of Manhattan Beach, collectively “Participating Agencies”, in order to satisfy all 2025 UWMP requirements, such as California Water Code ("CWC") §10610-10656 and §10608. The project will result in individual UWMPs for each participating agency.West Basin will serve as the Lead Agency for implementing and managing the Project and holding and administering the consultant contract on behalf of the Participating Agencies.
