The primary purpose of this Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Program project is to stabilize the continuously eroding drainage channel bank slopes along Red Gully between US-98 and the City of Daphne Southern City Limits line. This project will consist of the following construction activities: This work will include building an access road, removing existing debris, and regrading and stabilizing several hundred feet of stream channel through the use of vegetation, riprap with filter fabric, gabions, and drainage structures, and fencing.
