The City opened the City's RecycleWorks in 2018 as a free recycling drop-off location for area residents. Currently the recycle center accepts cardboard, newspaper, mixed papers, glass, metal, plastic, and other related recyclable materials. Other recyclable materials are accepted for a minimal fee.The City is seeking a partner/partners to assist in finding third-party certified recyclers, hauling services, lease of recyclable material containers, and obtaining income from the sale of recyclable materials. The forthcoming Consultant/Contractor agreement(s) will be issued to vendors qualified to offer portions of the requested services and/or the City may award one agreement for all services as determined to best meet the needs of the RecycleWorks.
