The Central Arizona Water Conservation District (CAWCD), is soliciting sealed Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for Recovery Capacity Study. SOQs will be received on or before the day and time stated on the cover sheet. CAWCD desires to enter into a contract with a professional engineering consulting firm (Consultant) to study and evaluate recovery projects in the three Active Management Areas (AMA) to develop direct recovery facilities with a total capacity of 100,000 acre-feet per year. The desired result of these studies is a better understanding of possible recovery infrastructure projects to pump long-term storage credits for introduction into the CAP aqueduct. The effort to complete this work is expected to be considerable with specialists required in the areas of civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering; hydraulics, survey, and estimating. CAWCD will supply existing information on CAWCD owned recharge facilities as necessary, however an extensive amount of field work and meeting/phone conferences with CAWCD personnel may be necessary. This is anticipated to be a multi-phase project with this being considered phase one. Additional phases may include exploratory well drilling or could lead directly into a construction phase for one or more facilities. A MANDATORY PRE-SOQ SUBMITTAL CONFERENCE will be held on June 17, 2026 at 9:00 AM at CAWCD Headquarters, and also available virtually via MS Teams.</stro
