Richland County Government is soliciting electronic bids from record storage providers to furnish off-site storage and related services for its 81 Departments and divisions. As of February 28, 2025, Richland County has approximately 63,880 ft3 of records. Additional records are anticipated to be added to storage. The majority of the boxes currently stored are standard letter/legal file boxes (15” L x 12” W x 10” H), which are 1.2 cubic feet. Other boxes may include legal-size transfer boxes (24” L x 15” W x 10” H, 3.6 cubic feet), planner/blueprint boxes (4” x 4” x 42”), and large planner/blueprint boxes (8” x 8” x 42”). Also currently stored are several unboxed large bound volumes.
