Rebid: Citywide Fire Sprinkler Maintenance & Repair Job Order Contract

Description

This is a job order contract, which shall be used to provide the City with a readily available work force for repairs, alterations to existing facilities, emergency repairs and new construction, as the City deems appropriate.  In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, fire sprinkler systems inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair at various City Facilities and Municipal Wharves I & II. The Contractor shall be responsible for scheduling and performing the work necessary for the proper and efficient operation of the fire sprinkler system and to maintain the system at current compliance. Contractor shall provide a trained/qualified craftsperson to evaluate, inspect, test, maintain, and repair the fire sprinkler systems as per Unified Facilities code, local & state Fire Marshal. The Contractor shall maintain on file all drawings, operating manuals, and the results of all testing and inspection.
