Real Estate Consultants- FTA Funded

Description

The City of Tucson is continuously developing public improvements to accommodate a growing community, widening major intersections and arterial and collector streets throughout Tucson, and constructing various Water, Parks, and Landfill facilities and other Municipal projects. The City requires assistance in acquiring property, relocating occupants of properties acquired for these projects, certifying rights-of-way on corridor projects, and providing brokerage services to manage the sale and leasing of City properties.  The City will also be seeking specialized real estate consulting services for complex projects.Additionally, the City is expected to take ownership to a number of properties (beyond the current inventory) that will require property management expertise such as lease preparation, building inspection, coordination of building repair, and database maintenance. Concerning the disposal of properties in City inventory, assistance may be required in identifying marketable assets, coordinating the appraisals of those assets, managing the competitive bid process, and/or closing the sales.Various funding sources will be used under this contract. For projects identified as having FTA Funding; all FTA, federal, state and local requirements will be followed during development of the deliverables and FTA certifications are required and are attached as Appendix A. These terms and conditions cannot be modified or negotiated. These certifications, appended to this document, will be completed by the awardee(s).
