RC3H Electrical Room Cooling Improvements

The Tarrant Regional Water District (Owner) is requesting Proposals for the construction of the following project: RC3H Electrical Room Cooling Improvements- (RC3HCOOL) CSP 24-094-1Brief Description of Work:Demolition of existing paved areas, condensing units, ductwork, piping, electrical equipment and associated features.Abandonment or demolition of Air Handling Units (AHUs).Coordinating utilities and temporary power.New mechanical building with metal roof, burnished CMU veneer, and aluminum louvers.Relocated parking canopy; new concrete paving, curb and sidewalk.New AHUs, chillers, chilled water pumps and tanks, and associated ductwork, piping, appurtenances, and supports.New yard piping, fiber optic cable, physical security features, and site restoration with Owner standards.If alternate(s) selected, demo of existing air handlers from above VFDs in electrical room, demo of catwalks from above VFDs in electrical room, and/or install ductwork between existing VFDs.The Owner's Budget for the Project is $6,800,000.  The Project is to be Substantially Complete and ready for operation on or before March 13, 2026.  The Project is to be complete and eligible for Final Payment 60 days after the date for Substantial Completion.
