Phone/Circuits RFP Questions/Answers Who is your existing incumbent cloud phone system provider? Digital Agent What is the main reason that you are considering a new provider? The 3 year term is up and the county requires a rebid of the contract after term. Please provide a network drawing of all county locations and any connections between locations and how they are currently routed together for private data, internet, and voice services? A drawing will not be provided. The county has 12 buildings connected over dark fiber at 10GB utilizing Cisco Catalyst 2960x switches. This are within a mile of each other in the City of Buchanan except for the Jail/Sheriff’s office that is 7 miles outside of Buchanan. All phone data and internet travel across this dark fiber network to the demarc at the 911 center. Each building is segmented via VLANs. There are 8 outlying firestations that utilize a combination of Firstnet cellular cradlepoints, ATT Uverse and Spectrum for internet but all use the county’s cloud phone system. a. Show all internet feeds, capacities, deliver locations, and describe routing or other protocol depicting how they are redundant. b. Show all PSTN voice feeds and internal county routing for redundancy on the county WAN. c. Include all current locations, fire, parks rec, courthouses etc. d. List all departments and any locations in the above list associated with these departments e. Include any new locations such as the Magistrate departments new soon to open location downtown Buchanan. How many active telephone numbers does the county have? NOTE: This includes any DIDs that may not be associated with a user. The specifications for phone service are in the RFP. Will all of these numbers be ported? Yes Are there any new numbers needed? No How many auto attendants are being requested. Four (4) RFP request dedicated circuit outside of existing Parker fiber. Please provide a kmz map of all existing fiber so we can avoid existing fiber. Is county responsible for all CAT5e or CAT6 or other internal LAN side wiring from any optical, network switch, router, voice handsets, and firewalls provided by the circuit and voice winning bidder inside the county locations?
