Description Contract Name Project(s) At Grade Crossing: 1-Line Enhancements At Grade DesignCrossing 1 Line Enhancements At Grade Crossing: T-Line At-Grade Crossing At Grade Study Crossing T-Line Solicitation Begin Quarter Solicitation End Quarter 2026 - Q3 Provide design services for the 1 Line Enhancements. 2026 - Q2 Develop standards and requirements, including engineering procedures, by adapting the Link Light Rail at-grade crossing standards for the Tacoma Streetcar (T-Link). Install automatic pedestrian gates and other safety enhancements at 2026 - Q4 Royal Brougham Way / Stadium Station on the north and south sides of the intersection, including updated signage, ATC LED signage, flangeway filler, pedestrian/accessibility improvements, and emergency swing gates that allow pedestrians who are on the tracks to exit to safety. 2026 - Q4 2026 - Q4 Advance design of the automatic pedestrian gates in the Rainer Valley 2027 - Q1 from 60% to IFB. At Grade Crossing: Sounder At-Grade Crossing At GradeStudy Crossings: Sounder Commuter Rail Facilities 2026 - Q2 Catalog and identify the existing crossing safety design and equipment and to recommend improvements to better enhance pedestrian and vehicular safety while having minimal impact to Sound operations. The study will include 16 crossings in the Lakewood Subdivision.
