PWD Main Office Stucco Repair Services

Description

Palmdale Water District is seeking bids for stucco services for the Main Office Building. The Main Office was originally built in 1992 and several spots of the finished stucco panels have started to pulling away from the building wall due to poor construction. The District performed a stucco analysis and rated the panels from "very bad" to "minimal". The District is requiring a mandatory pre-bid meeting so the bidders are able to see the level of services needed. The District is seeking proposal to removal and disposal of all of panels on each building elevation with the east building elevation being the base bid and other elevations being bid additives. Finally, the District is seeking proposal to replace the existing building stucco soffit with metal material. The contractor shall proposal the metal material as part of their proposal and include the costs as bid additive no. 4.The stucco analysis, original stucco submittal, photos from stucco inspection, and original plans for the building are included in the attachments for this project.
