Circuits will be adjusted within rooms to be connected to the back-up generator service via existing automatic transfer switch (ATS), and the electrical modifications to alter the existing electrical lines to the critical load locations in the labs. The building lighting will be transferred to be completely supported by the back-up generator, with a new manual and automatic transfer switch being installed to support the emergency lighting.
