Purchase and Delivery of Single Mode Fiber Optic Cable (432 count, 144 count, 24 count, and 12 count) as needed for up to 3 years.

Description

The City intends purchasing single‑mode fiber optic cable in multiple strand counts (432, 144, 24, and 12) to support ongoing and planned City of Palo Alto Utilities (CPAU) fiber network expansion, maintenance, and capital improvement projects on an as needed basis. This material procurement is necessary to ensure timely completion of critical infrastructure upgrades and to maintain the reliability and resiliency of the City’s fiber network. This will be up to a 3 year agreement. Note: The quantities in this RFQ are estimated only. Quantities may increase or decrease depending upon the project requirements. All the materials under this RFQ shall be purchased within a period of three (3) years. Vendor shall coordinate the delivery schedule with the City. Pricing will be firm for each term of this agreement. The City will accept alternate proposals for the items herein. If an alternate product is quoted a data sheet must be submitted with this RFQ. If a data sheet for the alternate product is not submitted with this RFQ the City will not evaluate the product quoted. The City reserves the right to award to multiple vendors. This City reserves the right to award on an item by item basis or aggregate.
