Public Works Airport Maintenance Yard

Description

The County of Yuba is soliciting bids for a project consisting of rehabilitation of an existing building and construction of a new building for the County’s Public Works maintenance crews, in conformance to the plans and specifications attached to this solicitation. The existing building will provide storage space, as well as space for the sign shop. The new building will provide storage space, office space for crew members, space for repair and maintenance of Public Works vehicles (and possibly fleet vehicles used by other departments). Technology cabling will connect both buildings to the County’s servers. The County estimates that building 1 will be approximately 10,840 gross square feet and building 2 will be approximately 11,832 gross square feet. Included with construction is the installation of a wash rack that has been previously purchased by the County, requiring coordination between the winning bidder and the wash rack manufacturer.Engineers estimate for base bid only: $4,750,000 (includes both buildings and all site improvements)The contract duration is estimated at 275 working days.
