Public Roads Pavement Condition and Asset Inventory Index Survey

Description

The County of Greenville is seeking proposals from firms qualified to provide comprehensive road surface testing for approximately 1,830 miles of County maintained asphalt roadways using a mobile data collection vehicle equipped with GPS, high-resolution cameras, pavement profiling, and rutting sensors to evaluate existing pavement distress conditions. The data collection will be in accordance with the ASTM D6433 - 18 Standard Practice for Roads and Parking Lots Pavement Condition Index Surveys. The rating information shall include severity and extent of each pavement distress as defined in the standard. The data will be analyzed to determine a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) for each road segment and a weighted PCI for each road. Project deliverables shall include a PCI of each road segment, weighted PCI of each road, pavement distress description data, and high-resolution images of each road including right of way. Data should be easily interfaced with the County's GIS system City works and PAVERTM software.
