Public Library Management and Operations Study and Plan

Description

Washington County is accepting proposals from qualified providers to support transitioning a public library from county operation to a nonprofit agency already operating one public library. The purpose is to recommend an efficient and effective operating model for two small library buildings operated by one nonprofit, determine what investments are recommended to make the project successful, develop a transition plan, and if the plan is approved, lead the transition project. This project is an exciting opportunity to help structure a sustainable and efficient library service model to support community needs.
