Responses from the City's design team are attached. Providence City Hall 25 Dorrance Street Providence, RI 02903 Providence City Hall Envelope Restoration – Phase 1 Addendum #6 – Response to Bidder Questions 2 10/8/26 The purpose of this addendum is to respond to questions sent in by prospective bidders. Design team responses are below in RED. 1. Is there an anticipated amount of New Parge Coat installed on the existing masonry? a. DBVW: Refer to detail 3/A504; assume parge coat is required over all areas at the base of the dome that are currently clad in sheet metal, approx. 900 square feet (vertical surface area). 2. Detail 5/ A501, please confirm that the assumed max depth of the tooling repair is 1/2" a. DBVW: Confirmed. 3. In the event that the depth is greater than 1/2" we are to perform a dutchman repair. Is there an anticipated number of units that require a dutchman? a. DBVW: We have not identified any required dutchman repairs at this time. If areas indicated for tooling repair are determined to require dutchman repairs, or any other dutchman repairs are identified during construction, this will be resolved as a change in scope.
