AUGUSTA WATER NOTICE OF PROPOSED WATER & SEWER RATE SCHEDULE CHANGES The Board of Augusta Water, pursuant to Section 15.2-5136 of the Code of Virginia (1950 as amended), on June 18, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. will hold a public hearing in the Augusta Water Field Operations facility, 846 Laurel Hill Road, Verona, VA, to hear comments on a water and sewer rate schedule with rates increased as shown below. If approved, these rates will have an effective billing date of July 1, 2026. This Notice is provided by action of the Augusta Water Board, May 28, 2026. Where Augusta Water Engineering Staff determines that no new physical connection or upgrade is required the hookup fee may be waived. If a replacement meter is needed, the hookup fee shall be the actual meter/endpoint assembly cost plus $250. • When a developer completes all water & sewer connections within a residential subdivision (5/8” connections only and developer supplies all labor and materials, excluding meter/endpoint assembly and installation) in accordance with Augusta Water Design and Construction Standards, the following hookup fees shall apply: $430 for water, $250 for sewer.
