REQUEST FOR BID LOCKER ROOM AND RESTROOM FLOOR COATING AT THE MIKE DANIEL RECREATION CENTER 1220 LAFAYETTE PARKWAY LAGRANGE, GA 30241 Troup County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed bids to prepare the floors and coat the floors of the restroom and locker rooms at the Mike Daniel Recreation Center located at 1220 LaFayette Parkway, LaGrange, GA 30241. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in the Troup County Purchasing Department, 100 Ridley Avenue, Suite 3100, LaGrange, Georgia 30240. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked “MDRC Floor Coating”. At the time and place noted above the proposals will be publicly opened and read. All requests for clarification or additional information must be made via e-mail to Diana Evans, Troup County Purchasing Director at devans@troupco.org. Contacting any other party for information will require that any bid submitted by bidder being nonresponsive. No requests will be allowed after 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 19th, 2021. There will be a pre-bid site visit of the area on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. It is not mandatory to attend the site visit. Any/all addenda will be posted on the Troup County website www.troupcountyga.org. Work references may be requested at a later date. A current certificate of insurance from the successful bidder providing proof of general liability, automobile and workers compensation must be on file with Troup County Purchasing Department for the duration of the project. Each response must include a complete vendor package including a notarized e-verify form. These forms are also available on the Troup County website. If any subcontractors are used, the general contractor must provide an e-verify form for that subcontractor before they begin work on the site. All work is to be performed during normal operating hours for the center. The project is to be substantially complete within 30 consecutive calendar days. The contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after time has been called on the date of the opening. Troup County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities.
