The City of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, is seeking statement of qualifications from qualified consultants (hereafter, "Contractor or Proposer") to perform some or all aspects of professional appraisal services on an as-needed basis" pursuant to the "Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act," Florida Statutes 287.055. Appraisal related services may involve residential properties, commercial properties, and vacant land. At times, the services may be provided in conjunction with right-of-way acquisition by eminent domain. Responders to this RFQ shall specify whether they are licensed and/or certified to perform all or some of these types of appraisal related services in Volusia County, Florida. Proposers shall describe their experience in assisting local governments with right-of-way acquisition by eminent domain.Qualifications will only be accepted from Contractors in which the appraiser(s) possess Member Appraisal Institute (MAI) designation, registered professional within the State of Florida and have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the requested area of practice.It is anticipated that more than one individual or firm may be selected for a contract period of Co
