General work description:Sacramento County is requesting proposals from qualified presenters with demonstrated experience in providing instruction on the topic of school threat assessment team training.SCHOOL THREAT ASSESSMENT TEAM TRAININGSacramento County is requesting proposals from qualified presenters with demonstrated experience in providing instruction on the topic of school threat assessment teams.Instruction will incorporate adult learning techniques including problem-based facilitated discussions, real-world case studies, tabletop exercises and learning activities for a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach in threat assessment team creation and management.The 16-hour course must be designed to actively engage participants in practical approaches in the recognition of targeted violence on school campuses and prevention through the use of a multi-disciplinary threat assessment team. Subjects must focus on training law enforcement and school safety personnel to conduct threat assessments when there is an identified threat to school safety.
