Professional Consulting Services for Signal Improvements on Neilson Way and Lincoln Boulevard & Hill Street Project

The City of Santa Monica, (the "City”) is inviting proposals from qualified firms or team of firms (“Consultant”) interested in providing professional consulting services to the City’s Mobility Division for the Signal Improvements on Neilson Way and Lincoln Boulevard and Hill Street Project (“the Project”).The Mobility Division is charged with advancing the City goals of: reducing emissions by converting 50% of local trips from cars to other modes; creating complete and connected multimodal roadway network accessible to users of all ages and abilities; and eliminating severe and fatal collisions by end of 2026 (i.e., Vision Zero). This project advances these goals on major corridors, and directly impacts the City’s Vision Zero goal to eliminate severe and fatal injury crashes.The Project is funded by two grants, with a local match, from the California Department of Transportation (“Caltrans”) Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) (state only funds). The City is seeking a Consultant/Team for a two-year contract with proven expertise in design and engineering of curb ramps, and traffic signal installations and modifications.
