This Request for Proposals (RFP) is soliciting a single firm to perform independent audits for the Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG), the Brazos Valley Community Action Programs (BVCAP), the Brazos Valley Affordable Housing Corporation (BVAHC) and the Brazos Valley Community Development Corporation, Inc. (BVCDC), as well as a full scope audit of the ERISA 403(b) Retirement Account of BVCAP.The audits shall result in Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports (CAFR) for each entity, including independent single audits of federal and state grant awards administered by BVCOG, BVCAP, BVAHC, and BVCDC, in accordance with State and Federal Programmatic laws, rules and regulations including relevant OMB circulars and guidance from OMB Circular A-133 as codified in 2 CFR Part 200. Our desire is to have a set of CAFRs that would be eligible for the Government Financial Officers Award of Excellence for financial reporting.The Finance Depart of BVCOG performs all accounting and financial functions for all referenced entities. The contract resulting from this RFP solicitation will result in a single contract between the awarded firm and BVCOG. In this RFP, the term Client is used to mean any of the entities, BVCOG, BVCAP, BVAHC, or BVCDC, as appropriate.The intent of this solicitation is to award all audit services to a single firm. Proposer shall submit one single proposal to encompass the audits of the four entities.
