Description

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is soliciting a single firm to perform independent audits for the Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG) and the Brazos Valley Community Action Programs (BVCAP).The audits shall encompass the financial statements of both entities, as well as federal and state single audits in accordance with 2 CFR 200 and the State of Texas Grant Management Standards. The two entities are financially integrated and it is expected that the audits, as well as the financial statements, of both entities will be completed concurrently. The Finance Department of BVCOG performs all primary accounting and financial functions for both entities, and contracts with an outside CPA firm to provide audit assistance and prepare the annual reports in their entirety.The contract resulting from this RFP solicitation will result in a single contract between the awarded firm and BVCOG to audit both entities. Proposer shall submit one single proposal to encompass the audits of both entities.
