Professional Architectural and Engineering Services for Grant Related Projects

The City of Homestead is seeking sealed proposals from qualified Architectural and Engineering (A/E) firms that meet the minimum qualifications outlined in the RFQ. The City intends to enter into continuing contract agreements with the most qualified A/E firms to provide planning, design, engineering, and project management/construction supervision services for grant-related projects. The selection of consultants will follow the guidelines set forth in Florida Statutes Section 287.055, also known as the “Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act.” Interested firms or individuals must be qualified in accordance with Florida law.The qualifications and selection of consultants shall be in accordance with Florida Statutes Section 287.055.The local preference generally provided by City Code Section 2-411(a) shall not apply to this RFQ.Funding for these projects are contingent upon grants received from state and federal agencies as referenced in RFQ. All procurement and contracting for these services shall follow state and federal regulations including but not limited to 2 CFR, Part 200; 24 CFR Part 85; 24 CFR Part 570.489, 570.490, 570.502, 570.506, 570.508 & 570.509.The City of Homestead is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages participation from MBE/WBE/DBE businesses.
