Professional Architectural and Engineering Services - Continuing Contracts

Pursuant to Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, the City of Homestead (the "City") invites qualified architectural and engineering firms to submit Statements of Qualifications to provide architectural and/or engineering services to the City in response to this Request for Qualifications (the "RFQ").To ensure consistent availability of architectural / engineering services as such projects commence, the City intends to award continuing services contracts to multiple firms through this solicitation. The most highly qualified Respondent(s) will be awarded a five-year contract and will provide services during that period on an as-needed basis for projects in which the estimated cost of construction does not exceed $7.5 million, or for study activities for which professional service fees do not exceed $500,000. The scope of Architectural / Engineering Services to be provided will be identified on a per-project basis and will vary in scope, size, and complexity depending on specific project needs.The local preference generally provided by City Code Section 2-411(a) shall not apply to this RFQ.Funding for these projects may contain grants received from state and federal agencies. All procurement and contracting for these services shall follow state and federal regulations including but not limited to 2 CFR, Part 200; 24 CFR Part 85; 24 CFR Part 570.489, 570.490, 570.502, 570.506, 570.508 & 570.509.The City of Homestead is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages participation from MBE/WBE/DBE businesses.
