The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) or (Authority) as the operator of the St. Johns River Ferry service is soliciting input from the ship design and ship building industry to help evaluate the optimum procurement method for replacement and upgrading the original St. Johns Ferry vessel. Respondents to this Request for Information (RFI) are encouraged to comment on the proposed elements of the future procurement including Proposed vessel configuration, Procurement model (s), feasibility of project schedule including time allotted for design proposals and reasonableness of project budget.
