Prequalification of Continuing Contractors for Geotechnical Services

INSERT SHORT DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT The purpose of this RFQ is to establish a pre-qualified pool of consultants who may be invited to participate in future project specific requests as needs arise. It is the intent of the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners to place the pre-qualified firms under the classification Geotechnical Services. The pre-qualified firms will be assigned work on a task order rotation basis in the majority of instances. Geotechnical services may include, but are not limited to, setting up material testing, daily monitoring and tracking of construction activities, daily inspection of Contractor's work, coordination with citizens, review of maintenance of traffic (MOT), collect and inventory material records and quantities and all additional services as required by the specific project.Individual projects to be included in the Scope of Work will be miscellaneous in scope, of varied size and complexity as required by Hernando County and in conformance with the Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), Section 287.055 of the Florida Statutes. The County reserves the right to award multiple contracts for geotechnical services.
