CITY OF SOCORRO INVITATION FOR PRE-BID PRE-BID NUMBER 081016 The City of Socorro hereby invites contractors to submit pre-qualification material for the 4-inch Natural Gas Transmission Pipeline Project. Please note that contractors must pre-qualify before attending the job showing. Failure to pre-qualify will disqualify the contractor from attending the job showing and bidding on the project. The pre-qualification material shall include the following: A. Do you have a Drug and Alcohol Plan pursuant to 49 CFR Part 199? Who do you use to administer this plan? The date the plan was last audited? B. Do you have an Operator Qualification Plan (OQ) pursuant to 49 CFR Part 192? Do you have your own plan or do you perform work under your Clients OQ plan? Do you have employees who are qualified to perform arc welding on a high pressure natural gas pipeline? What companies maintain/administer your OQ plan? C. References – please include at least two. Include the Clients name and contact person. References should be companies where welding has been done on an in-service high pressure natural gas pipelines. D. Contractor contact information including name, phone number and email address. Pre-qualification material will be accepted until opening at 11:00 a.m. August 10, 2016 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 111 School of Mines Rd. Socorro, New Mexico. At that time the information will be opened publicly and recorded. The City of Socorro reserves the right to reject any or all material and to accept the contractors which in its judgment are most advantageous to the City. Any material received after the above date and/or time will be returned unopened. All material must be clearly marked Pre-Bid No. 081016 on the lower left corner of the envelope. The contractor shall assume full responsibility for the timely delivery of material. Any material not clearly marked Pre-Bid No. 081016 will be disqualified.
