Poston Park Dam Emergency Spillwall Wingwall Repair

Gaston County, NC is requesting sealed bids for Poston Park Emergency Spillway Wingwall Repair. The project consists of the repair of a section of wingwalls along the downstream portion of the emergency spillway structure. The work includes earthwork on the dam embankment, temporary removal of the existing wingwalls panels, recompacting the foundation material, resetting the existing panels, coring new weepholes in three panels, installing a toe drain, backfilling the excavated area, and seeding and soil stabilization. The project will be financed with local funds. All communications, clarifications, amendments, questions, responses, or any other matters related to this document must be made only through the Project Manager noted within this Invitation to Bid. Contact regarding this document with other County employees or elected or appointed officials is not permitted and may be grounds for disqualification. Neither OWNER nor ENGINEER nor ARCHITECT will be responsible for copies of the Bidding Documents obtained from sources other than Duncan Parnell.
