Polk Street Community Center Parking Lot Renovation Project

Description

The City of Bartow plans to renovate and improve the parking lot and surrounding landscape at the Polk Street Community Center. The project is intended to address deteriorating parking lot conditions, improve functionality and accessibility, and create a more attractive and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Work is anticipated to include removal of existing trees that are contributing to pavement and infrastructure damage, repair or replacement of affected parking surfaces, and improvements to the overall parking lot layout and appearance.In addition to the parking lot improvements, the project will refresh the surrounding landscaping with an emphasis on attractive, durable, and low-maintenance plantings appropriate for a high-use public facility. The completed project should improve vehicle and pedestrian circulation, enhance safety and usability, reduce future maintenance concerns, and provide a positive first impression that reflects the Community Center's importance as a public gathering and recreation space.
