Plan Review & Project Management Software

Description

The Town of Vienna is seeking proposals from qualified firms interested in providing an Internet-based software platform for the electronic submission and staff review of a range of plan and permit applications.   Applications may be submitted for staff review, comments and approval/denial. Proposals must include acquisition of the product, including selection among options where applicable; setup to the point of operation; training; and support of the system.  The software system must be able to receive, process, distribute, and manage projects from initial submission to completion, which includes final bond release, and reviews by public bodies.  The system must be transparent in that all key stakeholders, both internal and external to the Town, may be able to access status information of past and present actions taken on a given project. It is very important that the system be user-friendly, from the perspective of both applicants and Town staff. Vienna has an existing system. Offerors must include as part of the proposal, if relevant, a discussion of how the transition will occur to the offeror's system. Additional features would potentially be advantageous to the Town and are listed below in Section 5, under Software Features.
