The City of Thousand Oaks, Building Division, is seeking a qualified consultant to provide professional plan check services in support of the City’s development review functions. As the community continues to experience a steady volume of residential, commercial, and tenant‑improvement projects, the City aims to ensure that all work is evaluated promptly and in accordance with applicable codes and standards.The selected consultant will work collaboratively with City staff to perform comprehensive plan reviews, and assist in maintaining a consistent and high level of customer service for residents, contractors, and design professionals. Services will include evaluating plans for compliance with building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, energy, and accessibility codes.This partnership will help the Building Division maintain timely service delivery, uphold public safety, and support the community’s commitment to quality construction and sustainable development.
