Phase Two Traffic Signal Cabinet Upgrade

Description

Scope of work will include but is not limited to the installation of six (6) TS2 Type 6 cabinets with piggy back UPS. The City of Plant City will complete the testing, burn-in and configuration of the cabinet at the traffic facility. Once the contractor has taken possession of the cabinet, they will be responsible removal of the existing NITS cabinet, installation of the new TS2 cabinet, transferring of existing equipment such as Controller, MMU, TS2 Power Supply, EVP (if applicable), ITS switch w/power supply, Fiber Patch Panel, Batteries for piggy back UPS, camera power supply (if applicable). The City will be responsible for remounting of the EVP antennas. Contractor will be responsible for all rearranging field wiring to neatly coil in new cabinet along with new field wire connections. Contractor will also be responsible for off duty officer for traffic control of dark state signal. Cabinets will require silicone around the bottom of the base and new washers. Below is a list of the intersection scope for phase two replacements. All cabinets removed shall be returned to the City of Plant City Traffic Facility at 1302 W Spencer St.
